Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the GeoMaster platform. Last updated: February 2, 2026.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GeoMaster (geomaster.com), operated by VNL Game Studios ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our platform.

If you are using the platform on behalf of an educational institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

GeoMaster is an educational platform that provides interactive geography games and learning experiences. Our services include:

  • Interactive map-based geography games
  • Multiple game modes (Spotter, Seeker, Master)
  • Progress tracking and learning analytics
  • Classroom management tools for educators
  • Individual, family, and institutional subscription plans

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account.

Account Types

  • Individual: Personal use by a single user
  • Family: Household use by up to 5 members
  • Classroom: For educators managing students
  • School: Institutional use with admin controls

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform
  • Use automated systems or bots
  • Reverse engineer or extract source code
  • Copy, modify, or distribute content without permission
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Violation may result in immediate account termination.

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

Pricing

Current prices are on our pricing page. Prices may change with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our secure payment provider.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime via account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.

Free Trial

Trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled beforehand.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on GeoMaster, including games, graphics, text, software, and educational materials, is owned by VNL Game Studios or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal or educational purposes only.

7. Educational Institution Terms

Educational institutions using Classroom or School accounts agree to:

  • Obtain necessary parental consent for student accounts
  • Use the platform solely for educational purposes
  • Supervise student use as appropriate
  • Comply with FERPA and applicable education privacy laws
  • Not share institutional accounts beyond authorized users

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VNL GAME STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VNL Game Studios, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using account settings. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the platform.

14. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
