Accessibility Statement

GeoMaster aims to make geography learning usable for students, families, teachers, and school communities. Statement last updated: April 30, 2026.

1. Our Commitment

GeoMaster is designed for learners in homes, classrooms, and school systems. We want our geography games, learning tools, and account experiences to be usable by as many people as possible.

Accessibility is part of our product quality process. We maintain an internal self-evaluation record for the signed-in game experience and update public known limitations when findings are confirmed.

2. Accessibility Standard

GeoMaster aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

This statement describes our current self-evaluation approach. It is not a certification, third-party audit, or formal conformance claim.

3. Current Review Status

We completed an automated accessibility check of representative signed-in game routes, including dashboard, learn navigation, game routes, and profile flows. on April 30, 2026.

Manual-style keyboard, accessibility-tree, zoom/reflow, reduced-motion, forms/dialogs, and map-interaction checks are part of the review checklist. Internal manual-style review completed across representative game routes using keyboard traversal, browser accessibility-tree inspection, zoom/reflow checks, reduced-motion emulation, form/dialog inspection, and game/map interaction inspection.

4. Review Checklist

  • Route content readiness in the local review environment
  • Keyboard access and visible focus indicators
  • Headings, landmarks, labels, and accessibility-tree screen reader structure
  • Automated contrast checks from the Lighthouse route review
  • Zoom and reflow behavior on desktop and mobile viewports
  • Reduced-motion behavior for transitions and map interactions
  • Forms, dialogs, profile controls, game controls, and feedback states

5. Known Limitations

Our latest automated and manual-style reviews found the following confirmed limitations in representative game-app routes:

  • Some learn and game screens have text or UI states with insufficient color contrast.
  • Some buttons and links in learn/profile flows need clearer accessible names.
  • Some visible labels do not yet match the accessible names used by assistive technology.
  • Some game touch targets need more size or spacing on smaller screens.
  • Some dashboard/profile screens need stronger heading structure in the accessibility tree.
  • Some transitions may still run when reduced motion is requested.

Review scope note

  • Profile-dependent dashboard and settings routes did not settle beyond loading placeholders in the local self-review environment; those flows should be retested with production-equivalent profile data.

6. Future Documentation

Schools and institutional buyers may request additional accessibility documentation as part of procurement.

We may prepare a VPAT, Accessibility Conformance Report, or third-party evaluation in the future. Those documents are not part of this current self-evaluation statement.

7. Self-Evaluation Summary

This public summary reflects the current internal self-evaluation record. The detailed route log is maintained internally for future VPAT, Accessibility Conformance Report, or third-party evaluation work.
