GeoMaster is designed for a wide range of learners, from upper elementary students through adults. Students in grades 3 through 5 can start with Spotter mode on Easy difficulty, where they choose from just three multiple-choice options with visual scaffolding on the map. Middle school students in grades 6 through 8 typically work through Medium and Hard Spotter difficulties before progressing to Seeker mode, which builds spatial reasoning by asking them to locate places on the map. High school students and adults often progress quickly to Master mode, where they type answers from memory. Every geography game in GeoMaster includes three progressive modes that build on each other, creating a complete learning pathway. Spotter is the first mode, where learners click on a country or region on the map and then select the correct name from a multiple-choice list. You can see your accuracy rate for each topic and difficulty level, track which games you have completed and which still need work, and view your overall mastery percentage across all available content. The platform tracks several key metrics, including the number of correct and incorrect answers, accuracy percentages per game mode, completion status for each difficulty tier, and time spent on each topic. The mastery system shows clear indicators of your progress through the seven stages of each game, from Spotter Easy through Master. As you score 90 percent or higher on each stage, the next one unlocks, giving you a clear path forward. For Family and Classroom plans, parents and teachers have their own dashboards that aggregate progress data across all learner profiles, making it easy to identify areas of strength and topics that may need additional practice. Yes, GeoMaster runs entirely in a web browser with no downloads or app installations required. The platform is optimized for laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, iPads, and Android tablets. For the best experience, we recommend screens that are 10 inches or larger with a minimum resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels. The interactive vector maps work well with both mouse and touch input, supporting tap, pinch-to-zoom, and drag gestures on touchscreen devices. GeoMaster is compatible with all modern browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. While the platform does technically work on smartphones, the smaller screen size can make it difficult to accurately tap individual countries or regions on the map, particularly for games with many small territories. Google Classroom integration is not yet available but is on our product roadmap. In the meantime, the Classroom plan provides its own built-in student management and progress tracking tools.
